Tosibox had a successful product launch at the Mobile World Congress 2015 where we introduced the new Lock 200 and Key 200. Tosibox Lock 200 is especially designed for industrial environments and its robust housing offers better installation possibilities e.g. on DIN rails. In addition, the Lock 200 brings improved VPN throughput (up to 15 Mb/s), a new streamlined web user interface, and PoE functionality. Both Key 200 and Lock 200 come with a durable light metal alloy casing.
The both new products are fully compatible with all existing Tosibox products so the users can mix them freely with their existing system.
“The new products are specially developed for industrial automation sectors, such as equipment manufacturing, process industries, water treatment, energy and building automation. It is also suitable for use in the security and information communications technology (ICT) sector. Tosibox remote connections allow the user to interact with the remote equipment and robots in industrial and manufacturing plants, to guide, program and control their operations and mutual operating logics, and to manage centralised collection of device data. This new product is also helping us to extend the geographical reach of our operations, with sales now beginning in North America” says Tosibox CEO Tero Lepistö.
Tosibox product launch attracted a lot of interest also in international media. Electronic Specifier published an article “Lock & Key remote connection solution targets M2M market” on their website.
