v3.1.1 – release date 2018-12-05 (Windows only)

  • Fix for an issue where SoftKey fails to open a VPN connection if the Windows user name has non-ascii characters
  • Non-ascii characters in SoftKey confirmation dialog are now displayed correctly
  • Fix for an issue where the Windows installer may have randomly failed to close processes

v3.1.0 – release date 2018-11-16

  • SoftKey users can now remove their own SoftKey instance.
  • SoftKey licenses can now be activated even if they are purchased for more than one Backup Key.
  • SoftKey confirmation dialog now displays information about the client computer and user.
  • SoftKey application can now be closed by closing the window.
  • The connection type can now be chosen for Keys and SoftKeys when granting access rights to a Lock.
  • In Key Manager, searching for Keys works now even if they are placed inside a group.

v2.14.4 – release date 2017-01-26

  • Backup Key creation is now performed in the background and indicated with a progress bar.
  • A reminder about creating a Backup Key has been added.
  • Functionality to synchronise a Backup Key to the Master Key has been added. The function is available when the the Backup Key is inserted to the same computer with the Master Key and an out-of-sync situation is detected.
  • The Windows VPN network adapters are now disabled after the connection is closed. This fixes an issue on Windows operating systems where the VPN connection could be established only once.
  • On Windows operating systems, unknown network protocols are now disabled on the VPN network adapters by default. This fixes some issues that were caused by 3rd party applications that install new network protocols.
  • Fix for an issue where a Key could not be re-used after removing/resetting it.
  • Fix for an issue where the Key software’s internal configuration might have gotten corrupted.
  • Fix for an issue where the VPN connection did not establish on Windows when there were two Keys connected to the computer.

  • Key serializations are now performed in the background and indicated with a progress bar.
  • Global name is now shown also for Locks that are connected to a Central Lock.
  • The signed Windows software packages are now also timestamped.
  • Fix for a compatibility issue with nvspbind.exe on newer Windows versions.
  • Fix for an issue where the application could crash when serializations are reset on the Lock while VPN connection is open.
